Daddy's Update

Hello Little fella,

Its really difficult sometimes to remember to write in here for ya, see we are spending so much time just soaking up being in your presence and hearing you laugh and stuff that we don’t always think.. hey – I should write that down. So not every single experience you’ve had is in here.

Some firsts since the last post – Ayden is eating tons of food now.. we’ve tried pears, carrots, green beans, peas, butter squash, sweet potato, apples, strawberries, blueberries, turkey, and custard. Now, you really didn’t enjoy the custard but last night you couldn’t get enough green beans. Mom even refilled your dish TWO TIMES! I know – crazy.

You are finding your word sounds.. you’ve got ‘Na – Gah – Ba’  and ‘Da’ down, and you love to chatter away even tho’ you don’t know any words yet. I just love to hear your voice. You carry a sense of happiness and contentment in you, part of the innocence of childhood I suppose.

You should see yourself go when your on the floor – your so itching to get moving. Which is a small concern because I really need to pick up my things around the room here so you don’t hurt yourself. (Or my stuff lol)

Your favourite toy is still your hands.. I know not a toy but you will sit and play and stare at your hands for hours at a time.

In the evenings for the past week or so, we’ve adopted a new routine in that we have outside Jolly Jumper time. I set up the frame and mom puts you in your harness.. then I put down a blanket as when your feet touch the grass you lift them up and it’s funny to see you swinging there with your feet up in the air. You really know your name tho’ if we say Ayden you will turn and look right away. which is cool.

Well I could keep writing but I need to head to work this morning, so know that your mom and I love you very much and I’ll write again soon.
