First family outing!
Well today we had a great day… (last night however Ayden decided he would not sleep…lol) Today we had our first family outing. Dad had a hair appointment and mom needed to get out of the house, so we loaded up Ayden in his car seat, got the diaper bag all loaded and the three of us headed out to the hair salon. Ayden loves the car! He slept all the way to the hair salon!!! While dad was getting his hair cut, the ladies who have been following the site, just had to revel at him. I mean, he is a miracle! After the hair appointment, we went and filled up the car with fuel and headed to Timmy’s drive through for a well needed coffee. Then we thought, OPA has not seen the little guy since he was in an incubator at McMaster hospital so lets head to...
Grandparents Revealed
Apparently with some people there’s a little confusion with who’s who. Frankly with so many people in our family it’s no wonder. So here’s a little breakdown of who’s who… Oma & Opa = Marks Mom Susan and his Step Father Norbert. Grandpa & Grandma= Marks Father Jim and Step Mother Bev. Grampy & Gramy = Lindsay Father Ron and Step Mother Lyli. And there you have it… just short and to the point.

Live long and Prosper!!!! LOL
Gas = No Sleep for Daddy…Then Mommy comes to the rescue!
Almost the end of Ayden’s first week home… When I find myself in the middle of the night and he’s fussing I try to put myself in my future self’s shoes and think “what memories would I have then thinking back to this night” and I think that I’d think of it fondly and yet be happy that the realism of it has been diluted in the waters of time… lol. So Thursday we started his Vitamins… we learned they make him gassy… very very gassy.. he was like a motorboat… in the end we just kept giving him more milk.. and he took it… he chugged 80 mls the one feed.. normally he was doing 50 or 60, but I guess the little fella was hungry. But he kept crying… over and over and i was like.. dare we give...
Night 4
Well we’re going into night 4… I suspect this could be a long one but I’m not sure… the little fella seems to have some gas… and has been trying to work things out for some time. Poor little guy. We fed him and changed him and he’s still fairly fussy. Babies will be babies tho’ I’m waiting for a blanket to warm up in the dryer… Lindsay thinks she heard somewhere a warm towel or blanket on his belly will tame him. Here’s hoping… truth be told I’m eye’n the blanket down here and I know how comfortable this couch is.. its tempting to think of sleep… but I wont. The cats are also acting up tonight – everyone wants some attention it seems.. lol ah well. Doctors appointment went...
