9 months old

Well Ayden, you are now 9 months old (as of Aug 13th, 2009). You are growing like crazy!  You must weigh about 15 and a half or 16 pounds by now. You are eating like crazy too. You are eating your bottle filled with formula, but you are also enjoying the world of cereal and baby veggies (so far we have tried carrots and sweet potato!)…I must say you take after your dad and I as you seem to really enjoy food!!!

You had some first’s this week to.

You met another grandparent this week. On August 12th you and I went and saw Grandma (my mom) for the first time. We had a really nice visit with her. She snuggled with you and made you smile. You met her dogs as well, they are really cute! You really enjoyed being with her!  She also gave us some money to get you a gift. Daddy and I bought you a excersaucer jumper thingy and you LOVE it!!!  Thank you Grandma!!!  (pictures to follow)

You also feed for the first time in your high chair this morning. Mommy fed you your bottle as normal but then I put you in your high chair and you ate cereal and sweet potato!!!  You did really well. right now you are sitting in  your highchair surrounded by toys and just talking up a storm.

You slept really well last night.  See I have been having a ton of trouble putting you to sleep. You will fall asleep on mommy but as soon as I try to put you in your crib you wake up. But yesterday we spent ALL day outside (I think the fresh air was sooo good for you) plus daddy put a fan in your room last night for some white noise. you slept from 8:30pm until 7:15am!!!!  You are a very happy baby this morning!

You have had such a fun week!

You are holding your head so steady now and you LOVE to stand up. There are times that you get fussy and if we just put you on your two feet you have a big smile on your face!  your such a character!  I love you so very much!

Well you just spit up a bit so I should run to the rescue!!!
