Ayden is currently on his first journey in a vehicle (on his own, as in not inside mom) as he’s heading to GRANDRIVER hospital. A bed was available today, so Mom is packing up and on her way home as well. She’s beside herself with joy at the prospect of being able to sleep at home tonight!!!
Ayden has to be quarantined for 24 hours to make sure he’s not bringing any infections along with him and then they’ll put him in the nicu. I myself, am excited that I can now visit with ease my family at the hospital. Very exiting… a nurse at MAC has guestimated that he’s got another 3 weeks in the hospital. It’s not a set date.. so much as he’s got to accomplish certain parts of development on his own. But he’s growing and eating so it’ll happen sooner than later.
