Feb 5th

Sorry for the lag in the updates, but a lot has happened in the last few days.

Since the car died and I am travelling quite a bit to and from the hospital, I was spending most of my day driving and it was just getting exhausting. On monday this week my dad came to pick me up so I could stay at his house in Oakville which is only a 20 minute drive to the hospital rather then over an hour from our house. I can’t tell you how hard it is to be away from home….

But Ayden is doing so well with the breastfeeding that I am feeding 4x’s a day now. This means that I am spending most of my day at the hospital with the little man.

So far we have had successful feedings…except for this morning…he was a fussy little man and didn’t know what he wanted…

I am right now feeding him at 9 am, 12 noon, 6 pm and 9 pm….the hospital is looking to hook me up with a bunk room (it’s a small room in the hospital with a single bed and night stand) so that I can start to do night feedings as well…

I have not heard any more on Ayden’s eyes as his next exam is not until Monday…

So right now, am living at my dad’s house. Feeding Ayden and watching him grow!!!

Oh, weight is 2716 grams or (5 pounds 15.8 ounces)…he is like .2 ounces off of 6 pounds….lol

We want to post more pictures but the camera is in the truck that is at the mechanics being fixed. Mark will try to pick it up, but if not pictures will be posted when we have the truck back.
