Jan 13th update

So I went in again today to visit our little man. I spent about 3 hours holding him, and he is doing so well. He is hardly swinging anymore!!  He is on room air which is 21% oxygen and they have up’d his food again so now he is up to 37 mils over a 45 min period with a two hour break for digestion. They weighed him again tonight and his weight is now 2024 grams or 4.4 pounds…he is just a little chub now!!!  LOL…so cute!!!

I know that this blog is about our little man, but I overheard a doctor talk on the phone yesterday about a set of twins and I think they need some prayers…
these twins were born premature (not sure how early), and they are both blind and deaf. Our hearts go out to the family. we have been through a lot with Ayden, but at least he has all of his sensory functions. I just hope that the family has a great spirit to be able to work with the children and help them understand the world around them.  Please keep them in your thoughts.

So I hope everyone is having a pleasant evening. I am going to try to make it up to see Ayden again tomorrow and I hope to remember the camera as well to snap some new photos so we can post them for your viewing pleasure.

Have a wonderful nite

When you type a paragraph and get the code wrong it’s all deleted – nice!
Glad to see A-Train is over 4 lbs and doing great… Just a curious question… When Ayden is able to come home and you have 643 gallons of milk containers – what is the plan then? You will have 16 freezers at home and I’m just sort of wondering what the objective is with that supply?

Glad to hear you got your furnace fixed as it feels like about minus 50 out there tonight… Keep well you guys and talk to you soon!

Keith and Kyle both won their International Silverstick tournaments this past weekend! Cindy was with Keith in St. Catherines and I was with Kyle in Sarnia (Thurs to Sun). Kris was at home and had his own playoffs too. He is one of the top scorers on his team… So we are having fun with hockey and hopefully we’ll be able to come and watch Ayden’s games in a few years…

    Keep warm and keep well…
