One Day Away from 31 weeks…

Ya, I get to write a post 😀 –  So I called tonight and had a chance to talk with Julie tonight, who totally rocks. She really takes great care with Ayden.. and like charlie, Ayden has a few of his own Angels, lol. So we were told tonight that the little feller has gone up in weight, and is now sitting at 1370grams or 3.02 lbs. So he’s getting there.. it’s crazy to think some babies come out 7, 8 or even 9 or more pounds… that’s nuts… I think mom mentioned that he’s started to make his own red blood cells.. which is pretty awesome little dude. He’s eating 15mils of Milk every 90 mins which Mom worked out to be 3/4 of a cup of milk a day… FYI Lindsay makes that in one of her pumping’s So he’s still got a lot of food.

Otherwise he’s lying on his belly in 28% oxygen so that’s good… if you consider this time last month he was  in 40 – 50%  Pretty cool stuff

And there you go… We’re gonna try and head up tomorrow to the hospital but we’re aware that there’s some freezing rain on the way tomorrow afternoon – so we’ll see what happens.

Just like to take a second and say thank you to all the people that have placed Ayden in their prayers or sent positive energy his way… it would appear that it’s had an awesome effect… but I urge you to keep it up, he’s still a tiny little boy, and has many many obstacles to over come. And although we continue to mention all the great things he’s accomplishing, we’re not out of the woods yet. And Still need your prayers. Thanks so much!!! And happy holidays to everyone!
