How About Some Good News For A Change…

yesterday in our meeting with the Dr, we asked about our milk production, situation. For the longest time Lindsay mentioned she was embarrassed by how much milk she was producing. And man.. if we visited Ayden that night it only got worse..or better depending out you view it. 😀

When we mentioned to the Dr’s and Nurses that were present “look the freezer is full do we just toss the rest till he can catch up” and man oh man the reaction was like l had just made the largest social pho-pah ever. The Dr’s jaw literally fell open. He replies “Don’t do that.. that stuff is liquid gold!!!!” to which the nurse added “Some people are lucky to fill even one container… that milk has all the stuff he’s gonna need.” So we’re gonna probably need to hit up OMA and ask her if she’s got some room in her deep freeze. 😀 otherwise if people wanna pool together for a freezer for Christmas..lol shrugs… perhaps this will illustrate what I mean…

First the milk started to come… 1 and a half containers.. then 2 containers… each time…

So we cleared out the door of the fridge… and started to fill.

At this point we’re asked not to bring any more to the hospital, they have no more room for milk.
Still pumping tho’ 20mins every 3 hours. Now making 2 jars sometimes 3 each time.

And now we move on… still more milk. Plus I mean, if Mom saw Ayden that night.. production spikes to an easy 4 bottles a time… now we’re pretty much outta room and still not allowed to bring in Milk… remember he’s fed in cc’s that’s about 2 mils each feed. So 2mils every 2 or 3 hours.

There’s no end in sight.. she’s filling like 3 jars each time she pumps… hmmm what to do what to do… lol. I’m sure we’ll sort it out – but it’s definitly one thing we’re doing right, no doubts there.

Way to go Lindsay!

I have a small bar fridge in the garage that as of right now is hold 4 pops and is unplugged…you guys can totally have it if you could use it for milk storage…you could probably turn it way up and it would even work like a freezer…..let me know!

We have a freezer that has lots of room to store your milk.
Wow! Lindsay, you are amazing. What a “gold” mine!

our deep freezer is half full at best, and what’s in it can be moved around to create more space if you want to borrow some storage space — good job Lindsay on your milk production!! Liquid gold for sure!!
