Ayden On YouTube
Well what father wouldn’t be proud of the fact that his son is more popular than he is.. lol well here’s Ayden on YouTube.
Coincidence?? who knows…
So the days that i had to come back from McMaster the first time and then again the day I drove back from seeing Ayden for the first time… This song was on the radio I specifically recall hearing it so is it a coincidence or was someone upstairs tryin’ to tell me something??? you decide…
Saturday’s Visit Nov 22nd
I’m just settling into my seat here in the cozy living room of my home. What a winter wonderland we’ve come through. But it was worth it. Mom is upstairs pumping right now… or milkin’ as I like to say. lol So what happened today.. well today we spent the most amount of time with him. We arrived at the hospital and picked up another 14 parking pass… $32 bucks. But if you consider two visits is 30 then this pass is awesome. We also used one of our gas cards to load up before we left. Thanks to gas prices being down at a lovily 74.6 here in KW it only cost us 26.50 to fill the SUV from 1/4 of a tank. Nice indeed. We got into the ward by 2:05pm this afternoon. And stayed till 5 I think… usually when we go Lindsay has to pump so...
Nearly Forgot – some new thank you's
whew – narrowly avoided a social pho’pah there. Continued thanks go out to Matt and Cindy and Family for the Tim Hortons swipe card and the gas cards. What a great idea from my brothers and sisters to help us continue our commute back and forth from Hamilton hospital (45km each way) To Mr and Mrs Kranz for the kind gift, Stuffed animal and card. To Mr and Mrs Miller for your gift of Robert Munch Children’s books. Grandma and Grampa Burton – we received your card thank you. Thanks to Moxy Media my work and family away from family, for the supper works food gift, basically they purchased meals for us to heat up as with visits cooking isn’t always a priority. Thanks also to Moxy Media for allowing me the time I’ve needed (paid...
10 days and counting…
I must admit that every single day I see that little fella he makes my heart just sing. I’ve never really experienced anything like having a son. It really is one of those once in a lifetime experiences. He’s simply the coolest thing ever! Each time I come into that room and see his little form in the incubator I get so excited! Every day with him in our lives truely is a gift. Other fathers will understand what I’m talking about – and for those guys that have no clue but are planning on eventually being Dads… wow your in for some awesome times ahead. I mean look at all the stress I’m under, his life hangs in the balance, lindsay is sick, we’re moving, we’ve had to juggle finances to allow for the uniquiness of the...
Mom update
Well, I guess that this last few weeks has had quite a toll on me. I have not been sleeping very well and been forgetting about looking after myself as I have been more concerned about Ayden, his health, and setting up all the bills/change of address for the move coming up. Last night after our visit with the Doctor, Mark and I went for dinner at Kings Buffet. It was really really good. I did notice that for the past 2 days, I have had some pain in my lower back on the left side, kind of where your kidneys are. The pain was so bad last night that I could barely sit at dinner. I thought that I must be experiencing a kidney infection and told Mark that I was going to see the doctor. I went to the doctor this morning. They did a urine test which did not show any...
