New Site

Well we’ve moved to a new host company – one that has more security, and seems to be much better all around. justhost.com.

For those that don’t understand the term ‘host’ it’s basically a company that supplies a computer that’s on all the time and your website is saved on it, now that’s a really really simplified explanation. Then the folder/directory that you save your site in is connected to a name or URL, for example www.deethebee.ca would be Lindsay’s domain name or URL. I know it’s confusing having more than one name for the same thing.

Don’t forget to add a new bookmark of this site as the old site hosted at our Canaca.com account will not last past the end of the year. We’re moving everything over to the new Host company, including Marks website – when he rebuilds it. We did some research and Canaca.com inc, has a rating of F with the BBB, and tons and tons of bad reviews, now I haven’t had any super bad experiences personally but I didn’t wanna stick around to have one. The new host has no limitations on it our account both in size and in number of Domains or URLs it can have tied to it.. Canaca limited this number. Justhost.com has a rating of B+ and is accredited with the BBB something that is important to this customer.
