Bad Code and Chocolate
Well any of you who managed to visit on Monday no doubt recall seeing all this weird code on the top of the page. That’s because daddy was trying to add a video of Ayden’s nursery and it wouldn’t let me without a plugin and the plugin broke. Ya nice huh. Well I managed to get it all back up and running but Yikes I was a little concerned there for a bit that I might have screwed it all up. Good thing I didn’t.
Otherwise Mommy is learning currently that chocolate even from Paris France before bed will keep you up. She hasn’t slept yet tonight – at least nothing that counts in any event. So she’s looking pretty beat right now at 2:43am. hmmm sounds like a neighbor just got home… must be a younger person… lol ’cause everyone I know would be sleeping.
The little guy has a crazy appetite right now.. just can’t seem to get enough milk. Last night was aweful for that Mom tells me. She’d feed him till he wouldn’t take anymore, ly him down then 10mins later he’d be crying for more. This went on from 1 till 4am where she finally said to me.. look I can’t do it anymore – he’s all yours, and from other posts you’ll know that’s the point of no return for me on sleep. But he had a great day with mom yesterday. They went on an adventure – aka a long walk. Lindsay just couldn’t stay inside so she took the little guy out in his stroller. I like these walks as they took her to Teddy’s Bakery here in Baden and she picked up my favorite Peanut Butter Cookies. Any walk that ends in cookies is alright by Daddy!
A curious note regarding Ayden and his feed.. (mom wants me to note) When you feed Ayden for some reason his big toes point up.. like really pull back and point straight up in the air… it really makes him look excited to eat. When you get the bottle in Ayden’s mouth, he does this cute thing with his hands.. where he folds them in front of himself… as if to say yes… excellent, more please… it’s very cute. He also does this thing where when he’s waiting for the bottle to come and Mom is consoling him.. he makes this kinda grunty nom nom nom nom nom sound.. yes 5 times. But mom’s absolute favorite trick is the look on his face when you blow in his face… every time it’s the same.. his eyebrows go up… his eyes close and his tongue comes out… Mom uses this as a bit of a social gag to wow friends and family.. and he always gets a chuckle from it.
We’ve officially been using bib’s now every feed… he’s starting to spit up. There was a while there where he never did.. at least initially but now as his food needs are increasing a little bit seems to flow back from time to time. Nothing to serious yet.
I also notice that he is trying to look around more.. I’ve dubbed him “Bobble Head” when he does this as really he doesn’t know if he’s coming or going when he does it. Uh oh… Mommy needs to call on Daddy’s expert skills at burping the little fella… I swear they hid in his armpits. But no worries “I gots Skillz ya!” lol
